Price Per Head: Beware of Low Prices and Big Promises
A good Price Per head service will provide you, the client, with lots of different things. First and foremost, a real price per head agency that you can trust will have a dedicated, skilled, and always available customer service staff to help answer your questions and provide you with the support and advice you need. Secondly, a good PPH agency will have the latest technologies, such as gaming software, and will have adequate risk management and other helpful features in place. If an agency is missing any of these key parts, then it probably isn’t the best fit for you.
In the Price Per Head Industry, however, there are a lot of agencies and the majority of them will make big promises to you and swear that they have all of these things and then some. Sometimes, the PPH service is telling the truth but, more often than not, it’s just a bunch of hype. One of the biggest tip-offs to a bad price per head agency is one that promises you the moon but then turns around and charges too little for its services. Think about that for a second. We know it’s hard to swallow, especially since most people just want to choose the cheapest service we can find, but this isn’t the smartest choice. As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for, and that extends to these services.
Consider the fact that maintaining a constant, dedicated, and knowledgeable customer service team costs money. After all, the customer service representatives have to be paid to be there for you around the clock. Having the latest technologies and constantly watching your accounts also costs money. A good agency, obviously, needs money to operate, and you, as the client, are the source of that money.
What this means for you, or should mean, is that if an agency is charging you too little, beware. What it boils down to is that if the agency can live off such meager earnings it either takes on way too many clients to adequately service all of them, or it doesn’t do the things it promises.
