NFLIn one of the surprises of Week 3 of the NFL, both Philadelphia and NYJ played as expected to do so early in the year and the victory without much trouble, Jets over Eagles 24-17.

Ryan Matthews is better than DeMarco Murray

With Murray’s injury the Eagles gave a chance to Ryan Matthews and he proved to be a better choice for this offense. True, he had a costly fumble, but during the game the former Chargers RB showed greater vision and ability to function in Kelly’s offense.

The Eagles got a little bit of its Mojo back

At least parts of the game. Philadelphia finally showed life in the first half of the game and in fact is when they scored their 24 points. Last year the Eagles scored on special teams and generated turnovers. It is worrying they did disappear completely in the second half, but at least they did not start with an 0-3.

Is the mirage called Jets finally vanishing?

The first two weeks were one of the surprises of the NFL but now it seems the Jets look like we all expected. Mind you, this team has talent on the defensive and the next game is against the Dolphins in London. But they are far from being a contender to the Patriots in the AFC East and Brandon Marshall attempted lateral play reminded us of the old playbooks of this team.

Sam Bradford is not the answer as the Eagles QB

he looks scared and lost. Lacks precision and strength when launching and has left many yards. The problem with Sam Bradford is that it shows that he is afraid to get injured once more, and 114 yards on 14 completions are Blaine Gabbert style numbers. Maybe Mark Sanchez is a better option for the moment, maybe.

Without running game the Jets are in trouble

Ryan Fitzpatrick played pretty well, but the Jets need balance to be a competent offensive. Chris Ivory absence was noted and Philadelphia took advantage of the predictability of the offense of New York. Despite that this team still has very good chances to go for the 3-1 against Miami in London next Sunday.
