NHLThe Tampa Bay lightning dominating the game for the final 6-2 victory over the Rangers this past sunday, game 2 brought the series to a 1-1 tie and we saw the first playoff hat trick in franchise history,

For the second game in the series Johnson the league top scorer throughout the playoffs opened with a short-handed goal at 5:38, three minutes later the equalizer came for Chris Kreider a power-play goal, the answer from Johnson a 4-on-3 power-play strike taking the lead once more with a little over 11 minutes in the penalty ridden first period, with seven minor penalties before going into the second, one more penalty over game one which had six minor penalties for the full 60 minutes.

Again Johnson on the second period, completing the hat trick by the 8:17 mark, the incredible, Palat-Kucherov-Johnson trio strike again, the play was reviewed after the net came off during the action, another good goal for Tyler Johnson now with eleven on postseason, the Rangers in turn managed to shorten the lead with yet another penalty from Cedric Paquette’s who went off for interference, the goal came from the interesting play from Stepan who bounced the puck off of Braydon Coburn from behind the net wasting a perfectly good save from Ben Bishop a second earlier, sending the Madison Square garden into a frenzy, the score now 3-2.

Adding to the Lightning lead -you guessed it- another power play this time Alex killorn pounded the puck after a perfect pass across the ice from Victor Hedman landing the fourth goal at 3:09, from Steven Stamkos, some three minutes later striking a goal past Lundqvist from yet another special teams play, by this time the disappointed fans were rushing to get out of the Garden en masse, insult to injury came from Killorn at 17:58 his second goal of the game -but wait, there’s more- another power play as Tanner Glass looks through the box glass for roughing, 6-2 the final score of game 2 for the Eastern Conference Final, possession goes to the Rangers with 5-on-5, and Ben Bishop nets 35 saves, we go to Amalie Arena this next Wednesday night for game 3.

Expectations for Game 3:

Tampa Bay Lightning Win over Rangers by 1-2 points, and going well above the total,
this time a closer one although Tampa Bay will win yet again (5-3 TB).
